We came specially from Ingolstadt because a few years ago I had a Christmas party with excellent "Bavarian tapas". But unfortunately it was a mean disaster, which was only compensated by the very nice service ... We waited almost an hour for the food, although not even all the tables were occupied, and then got two oil-dripping schnitzels with 0815 french fries and an extremely dry burger (both bun and patty), which tasted good, but it was Neck is stuck. By far the best was the homemade sourdough bread, which was served with the cold meats (which was a bit tasteless). I understand that it can take a while when there is a big crowd and everything is freshly prepared, but an hour for two schnitzel, french fries, sliced ​​cold roasts and a burger with rosemary potatoes is simply too long. Then there is a problem somewhere in the working speed or the processes. All in all, unfortunately, very disappointing, probably also because of the high expectations. EDIT: We were on time according to Reservation at 1 p.m. there. In this respect, it must also be allowed to ask why our food order didn't happen until half an hour later. I consciously do not criticize the lack of tapas but the implementation of our order. The plates were empty, that's right. Sometimes it is because 1. An animal died for the meat and which respect dictates and 2. My husband was really hungry after a long time and therefore ate my potatoes and his mother's schnitzel. For a short time I was tempted to only go one star (due to a lack of critical ability), but that would not be right, since it wasn't "terrible", just "not so good". If the burger is the best choice for Eichstätter standards, then the exciting question remains: Is it the taste of the people or the lack of comparison, or is it otherwise better implemented ... everything is possible. My rating only reflects the impression of four people who go out to eat at least 1 or 2 times a week and would have expected a lot more, especially against the background of the very self-confident tones regarding quality etc. In my evaluations, I consciously consider the league in which the establishment is trying to play.

The sustainable slow food idea is lived here with the heart. Owner-run restaurant. The friendliness of the landlady is exemplary. Very interesting menu, at reasonable prices.

Good idea with the tapas! Don't order too much at the beginning, somehow the seemingly small portions manage to fill you up.

Unfortunately, you have to pay the full price for a dish that no longer had enough ingredients. We asked whether this dish is currently available because it was only on the card on the building itself and not on the card on the table. The waitress even asked about the portion size. We wanted the big portion. When asked how the food was served, we naturally addressed the price / performance ratio. Then the waitress said only that there was not enough left, it was the last rest. Unfortunately, this is not possible. Either you tell the guest that there is no longer enough, or you reduce the price.

Best vegetarian burger in my whole life! Otherwise top quality, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and service and all at more than fair prices.

The food tasted good to me, but unfortunately (due to the new cook) it is no longer as fine and lovingly presented as I have known it from the Maletter. The composition of the ingredients is no longer so unusual (there was e.g. spaetzle, venison ragout and carrot porridge - as I can find in any restaurant). I also find it a shame that the online menu does not match the selection on site. I know that the card changes regularly, but that's why it's so important for me to be able to see what is on offer beforehand.

The service is very friendly, the food tasted very, very good and just something different. That's why the four stars. BUT! Great idea that can still be expanded. The different gears take too long. The food is not really warm. I count the restaurant among the slightly higher priced ones because you expect more. Also from the facility. Putting the cheapest folding banquet table in this beautiful space hurts. The acoustics would improve if you hung curtains, for example. It is very loud for this small room. And it was very cold ... I am absolutely not frozen ... but when I am cold it is really cold ... a little more attention to detail would not harm the restaurant. But you go there for the food ... and it was fantastic in terms of taste. The table was also set very nicely and what I liked the most ... were fabric-served ..

Quality of the food was very good. The dessert with peanut ice cream and brownie was outstanding. The tapas portions were surprisingly large, fair value for money. It took a little while, but you are sitting outside very nicely.

You can tell that the chef learned at the Bayerischer Hof! In my opinion, the restaurant is one of those that should definitely be tried. The main course can be ordered so that several main courses can be selected. Top shop!
